New Headmaster Opportunity
Valor South Austin is excited to accept applications for its next Headmaster! In collaboration with the College of Headmasters and the Valor Education team, Valor Headmasters lead each school as a whole (academics, culture, and operations) in fidelity to the Valor vision for education. A Valor education is an invitation to live the fullest life possible, one directed by wisdom, animated by wonder, and anchored in friendship. Established in 2018 and serving K-12 students, our South Austin campus sits on over 25 wooded acres. This 3-story campus provides our students with connections to the natural world nourishing the heart and mind of everyone in our community. Ideal candidates will possess a deep formation in the classical liberal arts tradition and have experience in both teaching and leading.
Our Approach to School Leadership
A Valor Headmaster leads the school as a whole (academics, culture, operations) in fidelity to the Valor vision for education. Valor Headmasters work collaboratively with Valor’s executive team and college of Headmasters, receiving opportunities for coaching, fellowship, encouragement, and intellectual growth within a robust community.
